Ancient Tales is a personal project of fairy-tale, dreamlike crayons and watercolour paintings-illustrations that are inspired from the book "Klechdy ancient folk tales and novels."
It is a collection of various old tales: Polish, Ruthenian and Lithuanian.
This series is a small fragment that I will continue to paint as these legends are very inspiring.
The watercolours are just a loose reference to the stories. They are my free imagination while
reading this book.
I have marked the 7 colours that dominate the individual works.
The colours and their selection are very important to me.
